Happy Tabby is for people who believe their cats deserve a life that’s a little more fun, comfortable, and interesting.
We’re here to find the good stuff.
That means clever toys that actually keep cats entertained, cozy places to nap, enrichment products that make indoor life more interesting, useful things for cat owners, and gifts for the people who never get tired of talking about their cats.
There is an absolutely ridiculous number of cat products on the internet, and we think you shouldn’t have to sort through all of them to find the ones worth your time.
We Find the Fun Stuff So You Don’t Have To
Happy Tabby started with a simple idea:
There are a lot of really cool things for cats, and they’re surprisingly hard to find!
Pet stores tend to focus on the basics. Online marketplaces have thousands of options, but more choices don’t necessarily make finding something good any easier.
So we do the digging.
We look for products that are:
- Actually interesting — not just another version of the same cat toy
- Useful — because cute isn’t enough if your cat won’t use it
- Well-designed — especially when something is going to live in your home
- Fun — for cats and, occasionally, their humans
- Worth knowing about — whether or not you ultimately buy it

Cat Enrichment
Indoor cats need opportunities to play, explore, hunt, climb, scratch, and investigate. We share ideas and products that help cats exercise those natural behaviors.

Cat Behavior
Why does your cat stare at you? Why do they loaf? Why do they knock things off the counter when you’re watching? We’re here to investigate the strange, adorable, and occasionally baffling things cats do.

Gifts for Cat Lovers
For the person who already has enough cat mugs. (Although we’re not going to tell them to stop.)
We find unusual, funny, thoughtful, and genuinely good gifts for cat people.

Our Approach to Recommendations
We’re not interested in recommending something just because it has a high commission. If a product isn’t interesting, useful, or worth considering, it doesn’t belong on Happy Tabby.
When we recommend a product, we look at things like:
- Does it solve a real problem?
- Would a cat actually use it?
- Is it well-designed?
- Is it a good value for the price?
- Would we recommend it to another cat owner?
And when there are better alternatives, we’ll tell you about those, too. Our goal isn’t to convince you to buy something.
It’s to help you find something worth buying.
We’re Cat People, Too
Happy Tabby isn’t written for people who simply happen to own a cat.
It’s for the people who:
- have 1000+ photos of their cat on their phone
- know exactly which blanket their cat prefers
- buy toys that their cat ignores in favor of the box it comes in
- have rearranged furniture because “the cat likes it there”
- refer to their cat as their roommate, child, or local freeloader
- genuinely want their cats to have happy, interesting lives
In other words:
If you’re a cat person, you’re in the right place.
How Happy Tabby Makes Money
Happy Tabby is supported in part by affiliate partnerships.
That means some of the links on our site are affiliate links. If you click one of those links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships don’t determine what we recommend.
We’d rather recommend one great product than ten mediocre ones.
We may also eventually partner with brands, publish sponsored content, or offer our own products and resources. Any sponsored or paid content will be clearly identified.
Have Something We Should Know About?
